My name is Eleni Ellada, I work between theaters, rehearsal studios, and my atelier.

My background is in dance. My professional training started at K.S.O.T. in Athens and continued at P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels, where I graduated in 2016. Since then, I have been involved in productions as a performer, assistant choreographer, assistant director, and rehearsal director.

I eventually went back to study Interior Architecture and then Fashion Design and Tailoring because I wanted to understand the construction behind the clothes. I wanted to know how to build garments that don’t just look right, but move right. As a dancer, my fear was always that I might rip my clothes or feel too restricted in them.

Today, I keep these professions separate, but they inform each other—always looking for the physical balance between the body and the fabric.

What I do

• Rehearsal Direction: Currently for Rosas / Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, A7LA5/Radouan Mriziga, and Benjamin Abel Meirhaeghe (Muziektheater Transparant).

• Costume Design & Construction: Currently for Oscar and the Wolf.

• Artistic Assistance: Currently for Benjamin Abel Meirhaeghe.

• Creative Consulting: Movement direction, show storytelling, and wardrobe styling for large-scale tours, fashion shows, and music artists.
